Weddings. An occasion that calls for celebration and the gathering of friends and family. Fun to go to; hard to plan. It’s tough shopping for a wedding photographer, especially when there are so many, and their prices aren’t readily available for comparison. Showing what I charge for a typical wedding shoot gives potential clients a transparent view that helps them decide whether my services and rates fit into their budget.

I’m based in Salinas, California, and have photographed weddings from San Francisco to Pasadena. My first wedding shoot happened on Carmel Beach with a couple from Indiana, and my list of clients has grown. I’ve worked with other professionals who have taught me not only how to take better pictures but also how to serve clients with respect and courtesy.

Second shooter – $500
Having multiple shooters doesn’t just give you more pictures, it gives you more variety. Second shooters are highly recommended because of the extra coverage — imagine having shooters with varied roles, like having one shooter cover the bride and groom while the other covers the audience while also covering the bride and groom from a different distance. Having another shooter can also add another dimension in terms of perspective — different photographers, different styles.
