Julissa messaged me about filming a video for her because she wanted to enter a makeup artist contest. The winner would get flown to New York City for Fashion Week to meet Mally and do some makeup. Julissa and I talked about ideas, and we decided to have her host a tutorial at her husband's office. The original idea was to film the tutorial and splice some video. Face Time

When I'm at the computer, I usually have something running on my second monitor -- a television show or movie. I went on a Project Runway marathon which really got me wanting to do some fashion photography. I put up a Craigslist ad hoping to build a network of models and photographers. I got several responses, but nothing really came of it. It was kind of discouraging -- having come from an environment in Korea where people were willing to go out, meet up and create, I find there are less opportunities readily available in Monterey County.
